Based in Sydney Northern Beaches, and originally from Spain, we started importing avarcas as The Beach Paddle Co in 2016.  After a few successful seasons and expanding our presence in Australia through our stockists, we recently changed our name to Antipodas Brands to reflect our focus into top quality shoe brands 100% made in Spain. 

We carefully select brands that have a unique style and that offer a comfortable quality experience to our customers. Our aim is to keep bringing the true spirit of the Mediterranean to Australia and to grow by innovating with new footwear brands and fashion accessories.

We are always on the hunt for quality and unique fashion brands from the Antipodas to bring into Australia. We currently import 3 brands, which use top quality materials with different features to cater for everyone.

Founded in 2015 by the Lucas brothers who have 25 years experience in the shoe business, their aim is to maintain the traditional process of handcrafting all their shoes whilst incorporating new trends and colours to go with today's fashion.

Popa has their own 2000-square-metre factory in Alicante, Spain which enables the Lucas brothers complete control over the details, design, materials and production of their shoes and bags.

The brand was born in Madrid with the purpose of changing the concept of luxury. A concept which reflects and combines maximum comfort, quality and pricing.

Frambua shoes exude elegance, sophistication, comfort and quality -  a true easy-chic approach.

The Frambua Duo ballerinas are hand-manufactured in Spain and uniquely designed to create timeless styles, with innovative finish such as the soft flexible edges or a soft padded insole for all-day comfort.

Marila is synonymous with comfort. The brand always ensures that Marila designs adapt to the foot, covering it without compressing it, respecting its natural shape and ergonomics, so that walking is a real pleasure, whether in high heels, wedges or flats.

As it's going to be in contact with our skin, Marila selects premium leather materials based on its softness, breathability and flexibility. It is completely organic, and its tanning uses natural dyes without lead or heavy metals. 

The development of Marila shoes involves mostly handcrafted processes. It would not be possible to achieve the high quality of Marila without the participation of the brand’s expert craftsmen, who put all their know-how into always obtaining excellent results.
